Gehraiyaan starring Ananya Panday and directed by Shakun Batra and written by Shakun Batra, Sumit Roy, and Ayesha Devitre is a romantic drama. It is jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom 18 Studio, and Jouska Films.
Along with Ananya Panday, Gehraiyaan’s cast also includes Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah, and Rajat Kapoor.
Ananya Panday will be seen playing the role of Tia and will be paired opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi of Gully Boy fame. Deepika Padukone and Dhairya Karwa will also be a major part of this movie.
This will be the first time Bollywood actresses Ananya Panday and Deepika Padukone will be seen in a movie together.
The storyline of “Gehraiyaan” is based on today’s modern adult relationship and its complex plot which leads to a maze of feelings and human emotions in the modern world of Problems. It is based on the intense and real problems of modern relationships.
The plot of “Gehraiyaan” is in tune with today’s generation. The younger generation today would probably relate to the storyline as they too could be dealing with the same situation.
Initially, The release date of Gehraiyaan was 25th January 2022. But the film got postponed and the new release date of Gehraiyaan is 11th February 2022. Gehraiyaan will be streaming on the online platform Amazon Prime.
Gehraiyaan is a huge step forward for Ananya Panday who made her acting debut with the movie Student of the Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. Known for her young look and roles, the Bollywood actress would be seen in a more mature and intense role as compared to her other films.
